“You must be the change you wish to see in the world. ” — Gandhi
So what do I wish. I wish for justice and equality for all people, the promise of equal opportunities to be realized, materialized, i wish for the righteous to prosper, I wish for a few more good men.
Good men who choose not to be quiet when faced with injustice. Good men who do not fear to do what ever is necessary to ensure a safer, better and more just world.
I wish for more tolerance and acceptance in what is different, for all of us to embrace people from all corners of this earth, as we, all together can achieve greatness. The exchange of culture and ideas, of minds, will help us move forward, will enlighten us. Hate for the unknown only blinds us in a dark world where without light we are lost.
A painting in black and white is never as beautiful as one in colors. I wish tolerance and acceptance of everything that contributes to a greater good.
I also wish for no tolerance for the unjust, those who harm others, those who burden society in negative ways, those who threaten the families of good people and their well being.
It is our tolerance in those who seek to do evil, it is our choice to turn away, our shortsightedness in thinking that we are not the ones being harmed, to pretend something isn’t happening that makes us accomplices to the crimes that are happening all around us. We are all connected.
I wish for change in people, so that we can truly see change around us. I wish for people to act, the smallest of revolutions can start by any and each one of us, and they start insight us.
