With the euro and all, and with my housem8 monopolizing the one tv we have i had to look for alternatives to watching Greece fail to deliver and wonder why these people get paid so much money when others are starving to death.  In any case this is what i came up with:

It’s been a while since i wrote anything, but am back to work, England is cold in almost every sense. Holidays were good back home i have to say and i needed the break. I have to say the service with British Airways is really good and the people on board are really polite and friendly, even though there might not be a lot of tv screens like with Cyprus Airways. Also the seats are spacious which means i finally had enough space for my legs! Hurray!!

Got to meet 2 cool people on the plane on my way back as well, Alex and Harry, they made the flight feel a lot shorter plus i got to see views of people regarding living in England, the current state of Cyprus, studying in France (which sounds cool!), and about English and French law! (well kidding about the last part, not a law person ) Ended up carrying a lot of luggage as usual but i guess it’s good exercise at the end of the day!

In other news I had a nice dinner with Dave last night, and got to play basketball today after 3 weeks or so. Getting ready to go home now and its freezing cold outside, yay!!!! Well leave a comment if you have something good to say

I was reading an erticle posted on Wired.com about how a court in the states justified a Counter-hack on a so called hacker. If you take a look at the article by clicking here you can find out more and i even took some time to write some thoughts i had as well, forgive my spelling and scattered thoughts, i was in a hurry. The reason i paid attention to this was because a court justified a crime because it allowed the arrest of a so called criminal, without even penilizing the vigilante, even with a one cent fine.  I wont take an ethical stand on what is right or wrong as it is not so simple, i will point out thought that universities and other organizations have an obligation to protect the users of their networks both from each other, from university officers and from them selfes.  In this case the university in question, bared no responsibility on the events that occured.

Hi everyone, i dont know who is running wordpress out there, but if you are, and you were using PHP 5.2 you probably got something like :

Or something like that anyway. This is due to a bug in the official release of the PHP version, which has been fixed and is in the CVS and will be included in the next official release. The best thing to do until then though is to disable the warnings in PHP, which you probably have if you are using the server to run a commercial system. You can do this by disabling warnings from the php config file, but since most of us dont have access to that i wont go into it, just google it up.

The best solution for the rest is to disable warnings in our scripts, and in particular disable wanrings in /wp-includes/functions-formatting.php . To do this simply open the file using your favorite text editor such as pico/mano and add error_reporting(0); at the top of your script, below the < ? P H P

This should be on the second line, i hope this helps!

One of the most important things in life is realizing what is important to you. I think this is one of the most important things I ve picked up out of this pretty chaotic summer. Not much makes sense in this life, and there is no real right decision or wrong. You just need to see what makes sense to you.

You realize that although there are plenty of important things in life, some things are so important they worth taking the time to just enjoy them, take the time to even go on a half hour boat trip and just see how nice life can really be

You take these things, and you become passionate about them, and then you make sure you don’t ignore the other important things in life either, because a good balance, will take you a long way.

The leafs are falling, the sky is getting greyer. Yes it’s the time of the year when it starts getting cold again hehe � I ‘m sitting in my new room, its quite nice actually. � Its on the ground floor, nice view, and lots of green all around (no I ‘m not talking about weed ). � I even decide to buy an old bike to move around a bit, so that should be fun � Well that’s about it for now.

I finally got back in Kent, nothing much changed apart from the fact that all my friends are not here any more, with the exception of a couple, so i pretty much feel like a fresher, hurray!!! � Oh well, lots of tidying up to do and shopping, plus make new friends and consume lots of alcohol, responsibly as always!

I just watched a brilliant standup comedy by Russell Peters, it’s titled Russell Peters Outsourced and it’s a standup comedy suitable for all ages.� Get a copy of it if you can and watch it, it’s worth the time!

I came accross some weird behaviur from the Akismet pluggin.  It reported more than 1 spam comments, which it had collected but would only show me the first one.  The problem is that it usually picks up proper comments as well so i couldnt specify wether all the comments where spam or not.  Has anyone else had this problem?
