A few weeks ago I commented on the reliability of ISPs, and how professional they are. I some times wonder why people confuse professionalism with greediness and profit making, and pretend quality of service is measured by the satisfaction of the people who use the internet once a week to see if their favourite film is out yet.
With the new concept of Pay As You Go internet, or So Easy internet (referring back to Cyprus), the only people who benefit are the ISPs, who seem to be making a lot more money out of this, and even expanding their services to other sectors with their extra profits. It’s simply amazing, I have not had a decent internet connection for the past 8 months, thanks to my Internet Provider, and unfortunately the rest seem to be following that path. 8 Mb connections don’t mean unlimited usage; they just mean you run out of your limits quicker, and need to pay more. I hope some of the ISPs left who haven’t followed this path will stick to the old fashion billing system. I think they will find that many people will sign up with them.

I am not sure whether the days after the exam can be seen as boring or not. It does take some time to get back to the old rhythm I guess. Perhaps we are all suffering from “post-exam depression” (and yes I made it up).
Symptoms: boredom, lack of interest, nothing new seems as exciting et cetera.
Cure: movies, research, beer

Crazy 2 day event over! I actually wanted to mention the fact that I am writing in the University newspaper, I got a computer related column there and I decided to advertise my website there so I expect some more visits. It’s a nice experience and it’s good to reach out to people in different ways. It’s also good to offer some useful advice, nothing too technical or impressive, but useful never the less.

This is probably one of the most stressful periods I have been through.� I have taken exams� before but this year it’s crazy.� I have 3 exams in 2 days coming up, 2 on Wednesday and one on Thursday.� I am truly amazed; don’t know how I will manage to prepare for them, if I ever will.� Also thinking of looking for a Job, if you have anything in mind let me know.� Otherwise Master’s degree here I come
